Scientific-practical conference and master class "Laser technology of ambulatory phlebology and coloproctology", Moscow, 13.03.2020/XNUMX/XNUMX.
On March 13, 2020, in the City Clinical Hospital No. 24, a Scientific and Practical Conference and a master class "Laser Technologies for Ambulatory Phlebology and Coloproctology" took place. The event was attended by a leading specialist of the City Center for Phlebology "MIFTS", a surgeon, phlebologist, Alexei Mikhailovich Malakhov.
Leading phlebologist "MIFC" Malakhov A.Yu. at the conference
Leonid Aleksandrovich Laberko, MD, professor of the Department of General Surgery and Radiation Diagnostics, Faculty of Medicine, Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution "Russian National Research Medical University named after N. I. Pirogov", Moscow, presented a number of reports.
Reported by Professor, MD. LA Laberko
In the first of them, on the topic: "Modern methods of surgical treatment of varicose veins in a hospital, short-term stay and outpatient." Leonid Alexandrovich told about the implementation of modern technologies for the treatment of varicose veins. The professor paid special attention to the observance of European protocols when using the techniques of endovascular vein removal. Leonid Aleksandrovich devoted his next message to the topic: "The value of compression therapy after performing EVLK". Leonid Aleksandrovich presented the results of authoritative European studies and clinical guidelines based on them from the leading phlebological communities. At the end of the lecture, the doctor sounded the most optimal algorithm for the selection and use of compression hosiery for various phlebological interventions.
Kirill Viktorovich Lobastov, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Russian National Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov ", Moscow presented two messages.
Speaker Ph.D. Lobastov K.V.
In the first of them: "Why do I prefer EVLK for the treatment of varicose veins?" Physico-biological processes of laser coagulation were disclosed. Kirill Viktorovich also spoke about the indisputable advantages of modern endovascular techniques over traditional treatment based on clinical studies and his practical experience. The following message was devoted by Kirill Viktorovich to the topic: “The Importance of Adjuvant Phlebotropic Therapy After Performing EVLK”. In this lecture, Dr. Lobastov turned to the conservative component of modern operations. Today, the use of effective drugs of the flavonoid group in the process of radical treatment of varicose veins is the rule rather than the exception for a good phlebologist.
Ilya Veniaminovich Schastlivtsev, Candidate of Medical Sciences, NI Pirogov Russian National Medical University, Moscow, Moscow, presented a message: “Prediction, prevention and treatment of thrombotic complications after EVLK”.
Reported by Ph.D. Schastlivtsev I.V.
Endovenous thermal (laser, radiofrequency) coagulation has given new opportunities, quality standards and obvious advantages in the treatment of varicose veins. However, even when using the best techniques, thrombotic complications occur, albeit extremely rarely. A modern approach to the prevention and treatment of the latter was introduced by Ilya Veniaminovich. A good help to a specialist is the Caprini individual risk assessment scale. With the help of this tool, as well as the implementation of international protocols for laser intervention, the possible complications of endovascular treatment can be almost completely avoided.
Workshop on EVLK performed by K. Lobastov
During the event, Leonid Aleksandrovich Laberko and Kirill Viktorovich Lobastov presented a master class with online broadcasting from the operating room, where modern laser endovascular interventions were demonstrated.
